Every piece of a radio, a receiver or a transmitter, needs an antenna either build-in or external. There are a huge number of antennas on offer on the market. But system and application requirements call for antenna properties or a design that does not seem to exist or cannot be found or does not suite to the application at hand.

One more thing: narrow-band antennas and filters are a tricky combination together with any kind of a radio. They may or may not operate properly!
Combined antennas
Due to the increasing use of radio communication equipments more and more often there exists the requirement to use different radio system terminals and base stations at the same location.
In the mobile applications congestion of the antennas very close to each other may create serious interference problems. The other facet of the issue is that of space and installation costs. In mobile applications the space is usually limited. To install several different antennas requires finding optimum location for the antennas considering the radio wave propagation, vehicle washing, water sealing etc. A better and more favourable solution could be to use a single antenna combination. Knowing the isolation between different antennas provides a possibility to anticipate the potential interference problems and thus prepare for the counteracting measures against them.
In some most critical cases the filters may be required. Our expertise on RF filters is an added advantage for using UCA -combi antennas. The designs presented here are only examples of our capability to provide solutions to challenging problems.
